As I reflect on the past six months with Goldings, I am filled with a sense of joy and gratitude for the opportunities, support and constant inspiration.
Joining this remarkable public relations consultancy has been a journey of professional and personal growth. I am surrounded by an incredible team and led by our director, Kim.
One of the highlights of my time here has undoubtedly been the warm welcome and ongoing advice from the entire team and our extended network of partners and clients. From day one, I felt a sense of collaboration that has made every task feel like a golden opportunity.
The ethos of Goldings Communications, a specialist PR partner for “businesses, charities and not-for-profit organisations that come to us because they want to be better known for what they stand for and what they’re best at”, got my attention straight away.
The focus on championing our clients has been both motivating and humbling. Kim’s commitment to not only advancing our client’s goals but also empowering and celebrating her team is truly commendable. It is refreshing to work for a public relations company that aligns with my values, placing such a strong emphasis on making a positive impact.
I first came across Kim during my internship with the Marketing team at Northampton College. I was immediately struck by her kindness alongside a strong business tact, something that is a rare combination to find in the media or corporate landscape. Hence my motivation to work for Goldings Communications when I saw that she had started her own PR consultancy with her spirit at its core.
As a working mother myself, finding a balance between professional responsibilities and personal life is crucial. I consider myself fortunate to be part of a company that understands and facilitates this balance – another rarity in our society. Goldings has provided me with the opportunity to channel my creative energy and satisfy my need for organisation and structure. Kim’s leadership style and commitment has created an environment where each team member and client feels valued and supported.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my role has been working with our amazing clients and having the privilege of contributing to their success. Due to my friendly nature, the relationships I forge often extend beyond business, resulting in personal connections and in one case even helping a former colleague secure a new job within one of our very own client’s establishments.
I am excited about the future.
